We are led by Professor Julie Hay FCIPD, MCMI, consultant, coach, supervisor, author of numerous books, packs, audiotapes and articles, internationally accredited as Teaching & Supervising Transactional Analyst (in all 4 fields of application - Organisational, Educational, Psychotherapy and Counselling/Coaching) and internationally licensed NLP Trainer.
Julie runs ongoing transactional analysis programmes for consultants, coaches, educators, HR professionals, psychotherapists and similar helping professionals who are seeking international professional certification in transactional analysis. These are run online (especially since Covid) and onsite, internationally for those speaking English, and with interpreters currently for China, Georgia, Japan and Kazakhstan, and previously in Poland, Romania, Russia,Turkey and the Ukraine, and elsewhere on an ad hoc basis, Julie also leads an MSc Programme based on Transactional Analysis. She is a past president of the international and European TA associations, was a vice chair of the UK ITA and inaugural Chair of the UK IDTA. She leads the International Centre for Transactional Analysis Qualifications - ICTAQ - and during 2021 is setting up the World Online Transactional Analysis Association.
A particular area of interest is coaching and mentoring. Julie was a founder member alongside David Clutterbuck, Prof David Megginson, Eric Parsloe and Sir John Whitmore, and also President 2006-2008 of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. Julie and several of her colleagues offer consultancy for setting up coach/mentoring schemes as well as one to one coaching. Julie also works with a small number of coaching clients - please contact us for details.
Julie has a limited number of slots available for those seeking professional supervision or coaching. This may be one to one or in a small group, face to face or online. This is suitable for coaches, consultants, educators, trainers - anyone whose work involved helping others to develop themselves. She also runs a counselling and psychotherapy practice, face-to-face in Hertford and online for those elsewhere, drawing on a range of psychological approaches and for a variety of issues including trauma.
